I am a climate and geospatial researcher passionate about working on real-world solutions to complex techno-social and environmental problems. A chemical engineer by training with graduate work primarily in atmospheric sciences — spanning geophysics, geology, and signal processing — I now apply machine learning and Earth observation data to multi-scale imapact assessment in agriculture at ZALF. My interest in environmental science was shaped partly by growing up in a town affected by industrial pollution, which continues to drive my focus on evidence-based, impact-oriented research.
